Traverse City Track Club
The Traverse City Track Club is a nonprofit organization founded in 1962 by local running enthusiasts with a simple goal: to make running and walking accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Serving a five-county region—Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau—the TCTC offers weekly community runs, year-round programs, and events open to members and non-members alike.
The Club also hosts six annual races, including the Bayshore Marathon, held each Memorial Day weekend since 1983 and recognized nationwide as a premier destination race. Thanks largely to proceeds from Bayshore, the TCTC has reinvested more than $2.5 million back into the community through grants and scholarships.
TCTC Mission: The Traverse City Track Club promotes and encourages health, fitness, fellowship, community service, family recreation and competition via running and walking. We welcome all ages and abilities.
